Harmony Placemat - Crochet Pattern

Introduce a sense of tranquility to your space with the Harmony Crochet Placemat. Inspired by the simplicity and elegance of Scandinavian minimalism, the Harmony Crochet Placemat combines functionality with a timeless design. Protect your surfaces with this beautifully crafted piece that honors both our planet and the rich tapestry of human heritage. Perfect for your coffee table, dining area, or as a thoughtful gift, the Harmony Crochet Placemat is a delightful accent piece for any setting.

Inspiration

I was inspired to create the Harmony Placemat by the idea of combining functionality and beauty in a single piece. I drew inspiration from natural forms and textures, aiming to create something that not only protects the table surface but also adds a touch of calmness and balance to the interior. This design reflects my desire to bring harmony into everyday life through simplicity and elegance.

Yarn

For this project, I used cotton cord 2 mm. This material is distinguished by its ideal thickness, which gives the placemat an exquisite and elegant appearance. I recommend using cotton cord or cotton yarn because it is durable and absorbs water from condensation well. It is also machine washable and can be dried in the dryer, although I would suggest laying them flat to dry for best results. Please, feel free and use any 2 mm cotton cord what you like.
